Proving Ground Bake #9: Reviving Sourdough and Black Cocoa Cupcakes

Why hello there, Friends and Fellow Bakers! Once again, I have a little Proving Ground post up for you to have a look at while I am working on writing my next technical. This week I revived and named my sourdough starter and I also found my way back to a semblance of comfort with buttercream. So head on over for a more detailed look at those bakes!

I also have some interesting news. I saw a promo for the upcoming season of GCBS and apparently the next season is being released in the fall? Is this usually the case? I thought last season finished airing in April or early May? Am I confused? Regardless, I will still be in the middle of this project while the next seasons episodes and recipes are released. I gave it some thought and I have decided to include them in this project, but not to include them in my goal to finish in one calendar year. This brings the total number of bakes to 41. I might get it done in a year at the rate I am currently going, but we shall see! PLOT TWIST.
