The Third Bread of Christmas: Cranberry Walnut Celebration Loaf

Hello there Friends and Fellow Bakers! Here we are with the third holiday bread I have chosen: Cranberry Walnut Celebration loaf. This is actually an original recipe from the Bread Baker’s Apprentice and as far as I am aware, is not a traditional bread at the moment. Let’s make this its grand debut, because it is right at home with the big guys. This is a simple egg bread flavoured with orange extract and loaded to the brim with cranberry and walnuts. I will definitely use this basic dough to make other types of loaves since it made an excellent base for add ins. I also went with the suggested presentation of a double decker braid which is both elegant and functional since the loaf slices up nicely.
